About the Role
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a placement student to join our Customer Support team. This role provides hands-on experience working at the heart of service delivery, supporting customers and internal teams to ensure data protection services run smoothly and effectively. You will gain valuable exposure to client interaction, incident management, and service operations within a fast-paced cyber security and data protection environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Embedded within Level 3 (advanced support) and Level 4 (escalation/project) teams
  • Exposure to backup policies, schedules, monitoring, and retention
  • Performing supervised restores and documenting recovery steps
  • Triaging escalated incidents and performing root‑cause analysis (RCA)
  • Exposure to ITIL processes, ticket management, and standard operating procedures
  • Investigative techniques, structured documentation, stakeholder communication, and presenting findings to non‑technical audiences
  • Supportive mentorship and coaching  across the service desk

About You
  • Studying a relevant degree (e.g. Business, IT, Computing, or similar)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised with good attention to detail
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems
  • Eager to learn, proactive, and comfortable working in a team environment
